Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A poster was released on Saturday during the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) flagship SHOWCASE 2.0 event at a hotel in the city on Saturday.
SHOWCASE is an exhibition for interiors and building-related materials and services to be held from August 15-18 here in BHEL, Dussehra Maidan.
Speaking to the media, IIID President Ravisha Merchant said, “The event is not just a commercial spectacle; it’s a celebration of interior design and architecture that aims to bring the merchant, designer and consumer together under one roof.
She added, “IIID believes in mentorship, which is why the event and workshop are primarily aimed at shaping the minds of schoolchildren. Alongside the event, a workshop will also be organised.
According to IIID authorities, the event aims to bring together the latest trends from various verticals in the interior and construction industry. This year, IIID Bhopal region is hosting the second edition of the show and they are expecting maximum attendance.
DGM Central India, Rahul Sharma said, “This event is special because it is organized by the brotherhood. Additionally, more than 40 exhibitor registrations have been completed for the events so far, in accordance with IIID.
After the posters were released, a program titled “The Man Who Paints His Dream” was held later that evening. Architect Hiren Patel was also present. He shared a presentation of his work and told about his design journey to IIID members and guests.
